Some Malaysians chose to stand behind the Prime Minister of Malaysia in this situation, regardless of political views.
It began when Pyongyang banned Malaysians from leaving the country.
That left 11 Malaysians stranded in North Korea.
Then Najib Tun Razak made assurances to protect our countrymen.

And a call for their release.

In a rare moment of unity, these Malaysians voiced support for Najib on social media.
Not a fan of DS Najib. But right now he needs us and we need to support him. Come on Malaysians.

I don't care what's your political view. But in this North Korea case, stand behind our leader; united as Malaysians 🇲🇾 Patriotic > Politic.

Idk but at this moment, all Msians should put aside political hatreds towards Najib and support him to solve this Korea Utara's issue.

Yeah, we all hate najib, right? But for this North Korea thing, can you hold off and save the comments for 1MDB? Thanks.

I understand that PM Najib may have had some wrongdoings, but credit must also be given when he does things right.

On the 8th of March, 2 Malaysians were allowed to leave North Korea.
Dear Najib, we Malaysians like to make fun of you. But only we can mess with you. If other people mess with you, we stand with you. pic.twitter.com/J24gq9Q6vp

As of writing, there are 9 remaining Malaysians stranded in North Korea, and Najib has called on Malaysians to be united.
